What I love about midsommar is how in most horror movies nighttime and being in the dark scary but in midsommar, it's almost like the long daylight hours are scarier than the dark. Watching this after Ryan Hollinger's video is like riding a rollercoaster. Damn. “All time favorite movie of last year”.

Looking at it looks like every midsummer I ever had in Sweden. so not scary, exept there are much less alcohol. I would like to see this film in 3d. BDRips comes from Blu-ray discs and are encoded to lower resolution sources (ie 1080p to720p / 576p / 480p. Suspicions about this movie confirmed, thanks. One of the most incredible movies Ive ever seen. Im not saying anybody ripped off anything. Im just saying I noticed. lol rip.

They need to sacrifice four people each year from the cult, there was maybe 60 people in that group -I dont understand how they werent more concern about their friends when they disappeared, where would they have gone, its a small place Also I think they missed an opportunity with the orcal.

It did tell a compelling story, it was about a faltering relationship and its conclusion was the climax of its end. It was executed perfectly. I just dont think you properly understand cinema beyond big budget multiplex fare. So just a ripoff of The Wicker Man except you don't get to see hippie Saruman. gotcha. Damn Coachella looks different this year. When I wanna watch a movie buuuuut I dont REALLY wanna watch a movie. I have a stupid theory to share: When the old man that failed to die by jumping, there were four people that have to hammer him, I think they're from different age group, spring, summer, fall, winter. So the youngest one has to hammer first then the oldest the last. We know their life is divided by an 18-years season. What does 18 look like if you rotated the '8' 90 degrees and put '1' below it, yes a hammer, although the hammer used doesn't look that obvious. Since 4x18 is also 72, if you add the old man's age it will be 144, as an angel number it means The angels are asking you to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and outlook on things, especially regarding some new ventures you are about to undertake., this is what I got after watching it one time, thinking about it before sleeping, then looking up the number today.

I grew up in a cult like manner. One of my teachers said brainwashing doesnt exist and its hard for a lot of ppl to understand it. And you never will understand it until it happens to you. Its made me extremely intuitive now tho since I understand it a lot better. Also keep in mind I was raised into it from a very young age. But at any age this can happen and I notice it in people very easily. They may not know it. Thats what brainwashing is. And Stockholm syndrome. But its a blessing and a curse. Thats one of many things that came out of life of this. The person is still in my life and I get confused and love bombed every now and again but Im so so much stronger now. Ive come a very long way. Its crazy how someone can literally control every single aspect of your life and your self. I relate to so much in this video. Its crazy. (Also it was not a cult. My father is just a messed up controlling narcissistic man who programmed me and my brothers to go against our mom. That meant we had no life except one of abuse and to only do what our father wanted even if he wasnt around and going against eachother to show our loyalty to my father. I can go on and on but Ill stop here. People called us robots and soldiers. He ruined us but Ive come a long way. You dont have to be in a set cult to go through this.

It's not a cult people it's an 'Occult. There's a difference. One is hiding and the other is pagans in this movie seem to be hiding there beliefs more or less from the world. Midsommar, instead of Hi Mark they said it Bye Mark. Are you guys afraid to mention scientology directly? It's kind of sad that a video about cults has to dance around saying the name of the biggest, most dangerous cult in history. Have you ever had a drink with an iceberg? You totally missed the mark on setup not paying back. It was tied up extremely well, for the sake of spoliers, I cant elaborate further. Her sense of being abandoned by her bf, loss of her family - everything is referenced back multiple times. Hate to disagree with Lord Stuckmann! but you didnt get this one right. Those individuals are chosen as part of the cult and their vulnerably could be corrupted to someone else's vision.

Its a beautifully made movie about the dumbest group of friends I have ever seen in life. I dont think they were actually speaking swedish, I think the drugs made her feel like she was speaking a universal language through gibberish. Ngl I wouldve been gone the second I saw the community; since when has a large group of white people dressed in white robes, in a field. with torches ever been a good sign? 👀.
